Notice is hereby given pursuant to s. NR 210.21 (5) that the Village of Waunakee experienced wastewater main backups on 05/23/2026 and on 06/02/2026. The backups were the result of a plug in the sewer main, which caused an overflow likely due to grease. Utility staff responded to these events and mitigated the impact on public health, the environment, and property. The events were reported to the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources pursuant to NR 210.21 (4)
